Why Technology Is Good (2020)

This article brings up great points to defend their title. They say technology “is seen in every field” (Why Technology is Good), have you ever seen a field of anything that does not involve any technology? I do not think so. This article also gives examples of fields that use tech everyday: Medical, education, in space, agriculture, natural disaster, transportation, etc. My question would be “How did Jacob Bigelow find out about technology?” This article could be called “Fields That Would Not Exist Without Technology.”

This article informs readers that technology is for everyone, even kids. Yes, they still might not understand everything, but they are not going to be kids forever, they need to experience and learn with this equipment. My question is “How would the kids who do not use technology differ from those who do?” This article could be called “Get Your Kid That Ipad They Have Always Wanted.”

These jobs that are listed are important because each have a different duty that IS needed by people. Some of those jobs are: Software Developer, IT Manager, Web Developer, Database Admin, Information Security Analyst, and others that you can go checkout at their website (all are extremely high paying jobs). If you go checkout the website and read about each of these jobs, it will give you a better understanding when I tell you these help jobs nationwide. I agree with this title but this could also be called “10 Tech Jobs Keeping Nationwide Jobs Secure.”

You can probably guess what this article has listed: practicality, SAFETY, responsibility, extended family. I think the main importance of giving a child a cellphone is for safety. They could be in trouble at any time and need to contact you. Not only for emergencies but to build a better bond. The child can start texting the mom when they are in different places and just would want to have a chat. I can see why a parent would not want their kid to get “addicted” to cell phone usage but you are their parent, so you can limit that usage. I do not have a question, I agree with what the writer said. This article could also be called “10 Reasons of Reassurance.”

I believe the pros outshine the cons by a mile. “Technology and science have played a central role in human history and help shape entire civilizations” (Technology pros and cons: is technology good or bad for society?) That is a strong quote in my opinion, it is pretty self explanatory but technology has always been an assist for us humans. Then the article goes on to list some pros and cons. We are focused on the pros and a bulleted list talks about how far medicine has come to give us vaccines and treatments for diseases or sicknesses, to travel (which is my most favorite activity in the world), and many other advantages. This writer went into detail thoroughly so no questions are in mind. This article could be called “The History of Technology and its Pros Today.”
